LR-Connect provides different views for collections and images
Several Collections
Collections will be presented in an overview always as a block of 4 images. If several collections are presented on a page the blocks will be placed next to each other or under each other if there is not enough space in the container. The name of the collection will be displayed under the collection. The name of the collection is the name that was given to the collection in Lightroom Classic and can at the moment not be changed in Joomla.
This presentation of collections will be displayed if the menu item types “Overview of all collections” and “User-defined overview of all collections” are selected. This presentation will also be displayed if the mode “collection-overview” () is selected for the LR-Connect plugin.
By clicking on a collection the single view of the collection will open (Single view of a collection).
Single view of a collection
To display all the images of a collection they are presented as previews next or under each other depending on how many images can be placed next to each other in the container.
This presentation of collections will be displayed if the menu item type “Collections” is selected. This presentation will also be displayed if the mode “collection” () is selected for the LR-Connect plugin.
If you move the mouse over an image, it will be displayed at the lower border of the image the IPTC field “Title” and separated by a hyphen the IPTC field “caption”. Next to it, a button info ⓘ will be displayed.
By clicking on the image a Lightbox will be opened, in which the images can be viewed in a big preview.
By clicking on the button info ⓘ the image will be displayed in the single view.
Lightbox
Lightbox allows you to present collections in a viewing mode. The website will be faded out by a black overlay and the images are presented as big as possible. The Lightbox can be closed by using the close button ( X ). Switching between images can be done with the left and right arrows (<, >). Under the image on the left side will be displayed the IPTC fields “Title” and “Caption”. On the right-hand side, you find the total number of images an the number of the actual image. At the lower border of the Lightbox, the images of the collection are presented in little square previews. By clicking on a preview the specific image will be displayed. By pressing the arrow on the right side of the image you can switch to the next image.
Single view of an image
The single view of an image presents the image in a bigger view and additional information about the image. Above the image will be presented the IPTC metadata “Title” as HEADING/TITLE. On the right hand of the image will be presented the rating of the image as stars. Under the image will be presented the EXIF metadata “Camera model”, “Objective”, “Focal length”, “Exposure time“, “Aperture” and “ISO speed rate“.
This presentation of images will be displayed if the menu item type “Photo” is selected. This presentation will also be displayed if the mode “photo” () is selected for the LR-Connect plugin.
Slideshow
The images of a collection can also be presented in a slideshow that runs automatically or manually. The size of the slideshow can be adjusted. The images of a slideshow can be switched manually by clicking on the arrow buttons on the image (<, >). At the lower border of the displayed image, the other images of the collection will be presented as dots. Clicking on one the dots will open the respective image.
