Images and collections that were synchronized from Lightroom Classic with the LR-Connect plugin can be published easily via an individual menu. To do this a new menu item is created or an existing has to be changed. LR Connect offers different menu item types ro publish images and collections:
- Overview of all collections
- User-defined overview of all collections
- Collection
- Photo
Overview of all collections
The menu item type “Overview of all collections” creates a page, which presents a list of all synchronized collections.
After selecting the menu item type it will be displayed on the menu definition page. For that menu item type are no options available.
The page presented by LR-Connect shows all the collections synchronized with Lightroom. From each collection, the first four images are shown as a block. Clicking the collection will open the collection and all contained images are shown.
User-defined overview of all collections
The menu item type “User-defined overview of all collections” creates a page on which selected collections can be published. Is the menu item type “User-defined overview of all collections” selected, the option “Collections” will be shown in the menu definition page. By clicking in the field will be presented a list of all synchronized collections, from which the collections to display can be selected.
After selecting the collections to display they will be presented in the field “Collections”.
The page presented by LR-Connect shows all the selected collections. From each collection, the first four images are shown as a block. Clicking the collection will open the collection and all contained images are shown.
Collection
The menu item type “Collection” creates a new page in which selected collections can be published.
If the menu item type “Collections” is selected the option “Collections” will be displayed on the menu definition page. By clicking in the field will be presented a list of all synchronized collections, from which the collection to display can be selected.
The page presented by LR-Connect shows all images of the selected collection. Clicking on an image will open the respective image in the Lightbox. In the Lightbox, all images of the collection can be viewed.
If you move the mouse over an image, it will be displayed further information of the image. The information consists of the IPTC field “Title” followed by a hyphen “-”, the content of the IPTC field “caption”, and the round button info ⓘ. By clicking on the button info ⓘ the single view of the image is opened.
Photo
The menu item type “Photo” creates a page on which a selected photo can be published.
If the menu item type “Photo” is selected the option “Photo” will be displayed on the menu definition page. By clicking in the field will be presented a list of all synchronized photos, from which the photo to display can be selected.
The page presented by LR-Connect will show the select image in a single view. Above the image will be presented the IPTC metadata “Title” as HEADING/TITLE. Under it will appear the metadata “Caption” in normal font size. Under the image will be presented the EXIF metadata “Camera model”, “Objective”, “Focal length”, “Exposure time“, “Aperture” and “ISO speed rate“.
